oh yes, btw i stayed in the "Amari Watergate" hotel... says 5-stars but the appliances and equipments in the room are all not working LOL.. except for the tv and the lights... thank god!

the next day, we went to four-faced buddha temple to pray :)

the funny thing about bangkok is, i tot there would be a temple-liked structure.. but when we reached there.. it was just situated next to a shopping center.. well.. most of their buddha's are situated beside a shopping center.. luckily there weren't many ppl there :) imagine a buddha beside the fountain infront of takashimaya and wisma :P

went to a cultural show called "SIAM NIRAMIT" in the evening :) we asked the guide to help us get the tickets...it's about the history of thailand.. lol he initially introduced some tiger show and gay shows to us.. -.- bad bad taste mannn....

so before the start of the show we had dinner there and toured mock-ups of past thai village houses.. some different province had different structures etc etc.. and we took this little sampan for one small round around a mole hill LOL.. -.- mock up of floating market i guess...


REAL buffalo skulls~!!!!! MOOoOOOoOOo~!!!!! just to show that thai villagers depended largely on these magnificent animals for manual labour and field work.. and their dung too.

a form of welcoming guest in their house... they sing some good luck phrases and tie a white string on your hand.. i think left hand for female, right hand for male..

oh yes.. they do batik there too..

some performances and photo-taking sessions outside the theatre before the show starts.. i think there were 2 real elephants around here too... they were part of the show...
sad to say, no cameras allowed in the show.. so they stowed away all cameras before u entered the theatre.. so no pics about the show :(

after that, we went to a night market for shopping :)

there are 3 night markets here in bangkok.. didn't went to the famous 'chatuchak'.. we went to one called 'suan lum' instead( pronounced as sit lom). tour guide said better goods there and cheaper than the other one called 'pu pom'. coz 'pu pom' had more caucasian tourists there... so the prices are higher :)

took this because mum complained of hunger around midnight... didn;t feel safe for dad to venture out into the streets to buy supper, plus i dont think they have takeaways LOL... so we ordered room service instead.. and this came at 2am!!! :) yummy!! i love the fries man.. SUPER CRUNCHY!!

went to chatuchak on our 3rd day!!!!!!!!! YAY~!!! :D :D mum didn;t want to go there initially.. coz she said it was terrible the last time she came here.. but we bought more things than any other place we went :P wahaha.. den she said that the condition here was much better now compared to last time.. so yes!! this is the very very cute thing we saw in chatuchak!! :D the first shop we stepped into!! haha... well.. i hope u guys liked it!! :) i specify each one of u girls haha..

anyway.. i think i managed to buy 2 tops in chaktuchak :) saw really cute pets in the market too!! OMGG!! cute rabbits and doggies!! didn;t take photos of them coz the stall was flooding with ppl..

haizz.. and only 150 baht for a small baby rabbit!! arggh~!! that's about $8!!! lol i guess about $200 in singapore.. EXTORTION~!! puppies selling for 300 baht!! S$10 only!!! wahaha.. i pity pet owners here.. haiz..

wency!! i saw peaches's cousins in there too haha :) and there was one that looked like Peter Rabbit :P

haha.. i dunno what i was doing.. looked quite sick too..

actually didn't felt so well on the last night.. heat from chatuchak.. and i ate something bad around 5pm in the evening i guess.. so combined together.. i kinda got some 'heatiness' inside of me.. and indigestion.. vomitted and had diarrhea.. haizzz...

but i'm well already.. although i sense some cough and cold coming up :) it's wiggling in my throat.. I CAN FEEL IT~ :P

that's all about my trip!!! been a good 3 days before start of prcp.. at least i had some relaxation period before the start of hectic 3 months.. but mum said i didn't opened up at all.. haizz :( still quite tensed throughout the trip..

well.. i dun want her to think that i wasted her money :( i really enjoyed myself.. just dunno why i felt that way.. anyway.. sorry if i affected ur mood too :( like she said, her being recovering from her operation and condition, her mood was even better than mine.. haizz.. sometimes i feel i'm not so strong than i think i am..

i love my mum.. she's the strongest woman i have ever met. :)
