today's is JUBILANCE CUM kelvin's concert day..

it was drizzling when i went out.. and my lovely blue shoes were wet!!!! T-T was afraid i might have blue feet too LOL..
had to rush to outram station to meet ah hao.. to buy kel's flower :) that bastard called me last min to ask me to accompany him to buy flowers -_-
yup.. so we got the flowers and went off to meet the rest at raffles mrt :)

got a little lost.. but managed to find the correct way.. XD it was still raining..luckily the ladies had umbrellas.. USELESS guys..all depending on the girls.. tskk tskk..

i shared umbrella with ah hao.. while queen and son share.. wency had the umbrella ALL to herself!! RAHHH!!!!

lol as usual.. mum and son are always fighting.. -.- son complaining mum too short.. and mum complaining about son.. haizz...

the first half of the concert was nice :) the second half.. a little too draggy.. i think i kinda dozed off in the second half hahaha..until the cymbals woke me up xP

let's see what we have for the repertoire!! XD

1) Hands across the sea - hmm not bad. :) still warming up to the concert.. bot bad for an opening piece XD
2) fantasy variations - nice nice!! i liek the clarinets and flutes.. weet weet~ maybe i should get the song from kel or somethign muahaha..and the place was freezing cold..
3) concerto for bassoon - the bassoonist was great :) well i dunno much about bassoons.. but it's the first time i heard a bassoon solo??
4) STARS WARS SAGA!!!!! - hmm this is a nice song.. nice challenge for the band..but i guess it's kinda too early for them to attempt this.. the trumpets didn't have enough stamina for this piece.. too high.. and too difficult O_____O but i really envy them..they can hit such high notes!! RAWRR!!! i could never do that even in my dreams haizz..

hmm maybe it's also partly coz i'm kinda stars wars fan wahaha.. i worship john williams XD
did i say the place was freezing cold? yeahh i had my shawl on.. and it was still FREEZING cold.. my heart was shivering -.-

after the interval.. it was the alumni band's turn to perform
5) when the saints go marching in - hmmm band piece? heard lots of versions of it.. but it's nice.. 6) poetic intermezzo - err.. i kinda forgotten aabout this piece..hahaha
7) WU MU xxxxx - i dunno the title of this song.. coz it's in japanese..but i love this song.. it's real nice!!
8) five variants of 'dives and lazarus' - this piece is nice.. but LONNGGGG.. i dozed off halfway through of it.. -.-
9) symphony no.1 'lord of the rings' : V. HOBBITS - WEET WEET~ LOTR!!! XD as usual.. like the airy fairy part..ahhh.. makes me wanna go to new zealand to visit the shire!!
10) disney fantasy - YAY!! i'm a disney fan.. so this is gotta be a ncie piece wahaha.. but not the best of all disney songs i have heard xP i prefer classics.. not mickey mouse..
ENCORE - moon represents my heart - hmm it's interesting how they dedicate this song to the graduating seniors.. haha unique :)

and that's the end of the review of this concert!! yeahh i know all my list are 'nice' but i got a headache now.. cant think of much vocabulary.. -.-
go look at others if u are still not satisfied.

after the concert..we met boon and tiang ti for jubilance dinner!!! had dinner at fishermen's wharf.. ah hao parted with us..coz he has homework to do.. *sniffs*
outside the concert hall was EQUALLY FREEZING!! woot!! if only singapore has this weather all year round!! i love it!! XD although it's cold.. it's nice.. i think my nose was numb..

ate at fishermen's wharf.. blahhhh...not very good ambience haha coz there was no music.. too bad ah boon didn't sing.... but it's okie we've got everyone :) *except hao and riah* :(

took a group pic..( it's with queen) den boon, tiang ti and bastard amos left..
so it was only kel wency queen and i left.. headed to clark quay to sit and chat.. lalala~

talked about everythign under the moon.. about giant squids and terrifying water..
and the scent of kel's fart and cigarettes wrapped around us -.-
hmm yeahh there was this girl that sat beside us.. she was smoking non-stop -.- i counted in total of five... the flowers were dying!!

tskk tskk.. if u were wondering that my friends and i smoke.. ur SO SO WRONG!! rawrr!!
we are a healthy, innocent group of ppl, mind you. :D

and cabbed home with kel and wency..yay!!! free ride!! coz kel paid hahaha :) yup..was a fun night.. nice cold jubilance day..
come to think of it.. already 2 years has passed.. since our jubilance.. :) this year will make it 3.. aww.. how i miss those hectic days..

when will we have another time like this again? :)
